The morning started out chilly, but we warmed up quickly while cleaning up the garden, raking the beds, picking up leaves, pulling weeds, and sweeping the walkways for Wonder Connection. We added paths through the garden beds and even planted a few plants - all in an hour and a half.
Wonder Connection does such good and important work with kids in UNC Hospital, including the pediatric psychiatric inpatients. The garden is safe and self-contained in a courtyard. Thanks to Wonder Connection, the kids can get outside in nature!
