The grants committee is accepting grants applications from November 1, 2019-January 31, 2020.  The grants committee will then evaluate applications and will present their recommendations to the CHSL Board and the membership at the general meeting.  Timing of grant presentations will be coordinated with the President and Vice President.  Letters and grant checks will be presented in late March/early April 2020. Recipients should follow-up with the Service League to state how the grants were spent.

GRANT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

When making grant determinations, the Co-Chairs and Committee members consider organizations that qualify as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are based in Chapel Hill and vicinity, and are devoted to benefiting its citizens.
